Tamari Almonds: The problem isn’t reaching for those chips and having one or two. The problem is your brain and tastebuds love those first few bites and they can’t stop and then you’re overeating at snacks.
So we are not going to do that and I wanted to share with you the recipe. And the snack that I use that really helps curb my appetite gives me enough calories to keep going till the next meal and also takes away the cravings.
So I try to keep it on hand as much as possible. This is my purse. And what I do is I have a little jar if you can put it in a bag to have almonds. But these aren’t just regular almonds because those get really old and boring.
But these are tamari, cinnamon, and Maple almonds. Now that sounds good, doesn’t it?
And this recipe can meet be made and it’s about six minutes total from like mixing it to cooking it to being done.
And these are sweet, they’re salty, they’re savory, they kind of Curb any of those cravings that you hit at random points of the day. And all you need to do is grab a handful which is about six to seven wall almonds.
And that’s enough to satisfy you. So I recommend keeping this on hand. I’m going to share with you now how you can actually make this recipe so follow along and I hope by the end you feel confident and are going to give it a shot. So to make these Tamari almonds all you need is one cup of raw almonds.
Next, we’re going to add one tablespoon of tamari, which is a gluten-free soy sauce that we’re using to satisfy any salty cravings you might have. Now we’re going to add in a teaspoon of maple syrup in case you have that sweet tooth coming through the sweetness in the maple syrup is naturally occurring and it’s going to help satisfy you.
The last thing is a dash of cayenne pepper, which will help if you’re craving something spicy. So stir everything together until well combined. And then you’re going to place it on a baking sheet that’s lined with parchment paper.
And I really hope you have better luck at getting your parchment paper to stay than I do. So you’re going to bake in the oven for seven minutes at 350 degrees or until lightly caramelized removed from the range and allow your nuts to cool before you transfer them to small airtight containers so that you can fit them in your purse.

And it’s so handy to have around when you are feeling hungry or just going to reach for something in the grocery store that you normally wouldn’t want to have like Sour Patch Kids.
